This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Maison de Mansour collects when you visit maisondemansour.com (the “Site”), shop with us, or get in touch; how we use and share it; and the choices and rights you have.
Who we are
Maison de Mansour, a business operated by Ghaith Mansour (“we,” “us,” or “our”), is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. To confirm: full legal entity name. Our store runs on Shopify.
This policy covers the Site, our checkout, our emails, and your communications with us. It does not cover third-party websites or services that we link to.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form. When you write to us through our contact page, we collect your name, your email address, and your message.
- Newsletter. When you “Join the House,” we collect your email address and record that you subscribed and agreed to receive marketing emails.
- Orders and pre-orders. At checkout we collect your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, phone number (if you give one), the items you buy, and payment confirmation details. You enter your card details into Shopify’s secure checkout, where the payment processor handles them. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Customer accounts. If you sign in to a customer account, including with Sign in with Shop, we receive your email address and the details saved in that account, such as your name, addresses, and order history.
- Correspondence. If you email or call us, or ask to return an order, we keep a record of what you tell us, such as your order number and the reason for your request.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the Site, the Shopify platform automatically collects information about your device and how you use the Site. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, the page that referred you, the pages and products you view, what you add to your cart, and when you visit. Your approximate location, such as your city or region, may be inferred from your IP address. This information is collected with cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies, described below, and through Shopify’s built-in analytics.
As of the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, the Site does not use third-party advertising or analytics tags such as Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, or the TikTok Pixel. If we add any, we will update this policy.
Information from service providers
The services that help us run the store send us information about your order, such as payment status from Shopify and our payment processor and delivery status from shipping carriers. When you use our contact or newsletter forms, Shopify’s form protection, provided by hCaptcha, checks whether the submission appears to come from a person rather than a bot.

We do not sell your personal information for money.
Targeted advertising and “Your Privacy Choices”
Some features of the Shopify platform may use information about your activity on our store, along with your activity on other Shopify stores, to personalize ads and marketing. Some U.S. state privacy laws treat this as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or as “targeted advertising.”
You can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page. Depending on where you live, if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out for that browser and device. We do not respond to other “Do Not Track” signals.
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Marketing emails
We send launch news and private offers only to people who have agreed to receive them, for example by joining our newsletter. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to unsubscribe you. After you unsubscribe, we will still send emails about your orders, such as order and shipping confirmations.
How long we keep information
- Orders and transactions: as long as we need them to fill your order, handle returns and questions, and meet tax, accounting, and other legal requirements.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep a record of your opt-out so that we do not email you again.
- Messages: as long as we need them to respond and keep a record of the conversation.
- Analytics: kept by Shopify according to its own retention schedules.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect information
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and payments are processed through Shopify’s checkout, which is certified PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. Only people who need customer information to run the store can access it. No way of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information, such as card numbers, through our contact form or by email.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct information that is inaccurate;
- delete your information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling;
- withdraw your consent where we rely on it, such as for marketing emails; and
- if you are in the EEA or UK, object to or restrict certain uses of your information, and complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email ghaithmansour@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, or call (412) 720-6946. We will need to verify your identity, usually by confirming details linked to your email address or orders. You may use an authorized agent, and we will ask for proof that you authorized them. We will respond within the time the law requires. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision, and we will tell you the outcome of your appeal. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
For information that Shopify processes for its own purposes, you can also use the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Children’s privacy
The Site and our products are meant for adults. The Site is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 where the law sets that age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
We are based in the United States and currently sell only to U.S. shipping addresses. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States and in other countries where Shopify and our other service providers operate, where data protection laws may differ from yours. Where required, Shopify relies on recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, for transfers from the EEA and UK.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our practices change, for example if we add a new service provider or analytics tool. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is material, we will also give notice on the Site or by email before it takes effect, where the law requires.
